Sailor’s Shikiori lineup has some beautiful inks, and Yodaki is one of my favorites! It was one of the first two inks in the series that I tried. The name means “night fire”, and I don’t think another name would suit it so appropriately!

Sailor - Shikiori - Yodaki - Range and Sheen

This is a deep, rich, burning scarlet fire red. It shades nicely from dark to medium. There’s a green-gold sheen at times, as well. Feathering has never been a problem with this ink. I’d call it a good writing ink with clean, crisp stroke profile. Flow is rich, but smooth and very comfortable.
