Krishna Ink - Jungle Volcano
Today, we have Krishna Ink’s Jungle Volcano. This is a beautiful, powdery pumpkin orange. It’s an orange with a hint of red, but that’s only the beginning. Once this curtain opens, the main star quickly takes the stage. And wow! This complex sheen is truly a star! As you can see on the swatch card, in some areas it appears as a golden green-gold lightly coating areas in an even sheet of shine. In areas of greater wetness, it’s a gooey alchemy of green-gold syrup! It covers everything that has even the slightest wetness.
Jungle Volcano is a clean, crisp writing ink, but in medium or broader nibs every stroke is covered in green-gold. If you can handle the sheen, this is a stunning combination of colors. You need be cautious with an ink like this. I can’t imagine having to clean a spilled bottle. It needs to be handled with care. I have a feeling it would torment a transparent Franklin-Christoph, like a feral cat playing with a freshly caught mouse!
If you’re willing to take precautions and regularly clean your pen, this ink certainly is stunning, and it’s a good writer, too. It’s a special occasion ink for me, and I’m happy to have it!
