PenBBS Forgive Green is a lovely, organic, floral green from PenBBS, and it’s number 277 in their collection. I really think the specific green that they’ve created here is particularly attractive.

PenBBS - 277 Forgive Green - Rich, organic green

Simply put, this is a lime green, but it’s more than that. It’s the green of fresh sprouts emerging from seeds, and juvenile, inner leaves newly formed. It gives off a strong feeling of health and vitality. It’s a shimmer ink, and the shimmer is a very interesting green. It’s very fine in particle and restrained against the lime base. There’s nothing that feels artificial in this green, and that’s what draws me strongly to it.

In writing, this is a nice shading ink. I didn’t have problems with feather. It was consistent and reliable. It’s moderately wet in flow, and it dries fairly quickly. PenBBS do shimmer inks very well, and I didn’t have any problems with clogging or maintenance.

I like this ink. If you’re hesitant to use shimmer inks, this is a nice place to start. It’s a reliable beauty!
