Troublemaker - Autumn Rain Gray - Shading and Shimmer

Autumn Rain Gray is a wonderfully rich, syrupy, midnight green-black, and the brilliant silver shimmer fills it with a rainy night’s twinkle and shine. As the splatter shows, there’s a nice plum red sheen surrounding wet areas, and this remains visible in writing on the edging of written strokes.

The thick, wet consistency of this ink makes for a very pleasant writing experience. It flows beautifully in a nice wet nib and feed. Drying varied from paper to paper, but it was never a problem. There’s no shading (there rarely is in rich shimmer ink like this), but the gorgeous shimmer and subtle red edging are a beautiful combination atop the rich, mysterious green-black.
