Krishna Ink - Bauhimia
Krishna Bauhimia is a beautiful, rich magenta. The swatch spans from a light, faded pink-red all the way to a dark, almost plum magenta. This is a wet ink, and written strokes are the beautiful dark magenta with a darker edging that make it a very crisp, highly readable ink. The splatter shows some yellow-gold sheening, and the same dark edging visible in writing.
Bauhimia perfroms well with clean stroke profiles. While I really like the color and clarity of this ink on the page, there is one issue that will annoy some people. This is not a quick-drying ink. I tested it in the medium nib and feed, that I use to test all of my inks. It wasn't beyond my limits, but it's something to consider. You may have better results in a finer, drier nib.
I really love the color, but I’m going to have to find the right nib and feed to pair it with, before I’m able to really consider it as a day-to-day option.
