Diamine Golden Brown - ink drop

Ranging from a light, khaki tan to a powdery milk chocolate, Diamine Golden Brown is easy on the eye, and easy to like. There are several golden-brown inks that I really like, and this is definitely one of them! I like the option Diamine offers of getting a 30ml bottle, or a huge 85ml. Both bottles are priced very nicely. Although the opening on the smaller bottle is annoyingly narrow, for me, 30ml is the perfect size.

This is a smooth flowing, effortless ink. It shades beautifully in a variety of nibs, and strokes were clean and sharp. At its wettest, it produces a chocolate black sheen with traces of ashen gray. Like most Diamine inks, it's reliable and consistent. It's wet, yet dries quickly, and is very well-behaved. This is a great writing ink!

I’ve tried quite a number of Diamine inks, but they have an enormous catalogue of their own, and make inks for a variety of other brands, as well. Luckily, I'm always happy to try new Diamine inks. If you like the looks of Diamine Golden Brown, don't hesitate! It's a very nice ink in every way.
