Robert Oster - Burgundy
Wow! Look at that sheen! Robert Oster Burgundy is a beautiful, deep scarlet, burgundy red. It hints pink, rather than the brown that some similar inks lean. That wonderful sheen is coal black from some angles, and a crunchy, ash grey from others.
Using a wet, medium nib, written strokes show a slight blackening at the edges making them well-defined and crisp. There is some shading, as well. This isn’t the fastest drying ink, as shown on the swatch card, but it isn’t painfully slow.
I have a number of inks in the deep red/burgundy category that are similar, but this is very likable. Robert Oster Inks are always a good choice, and Burgundy is no exception.
