What a beautiful deep, rich red brown we have from Leonardo! This is Noce Moscata (Nutmeg Brown). It’s my first ink from the brand, and I have to say that I’m impressed!

Noce Moscata really is a lovely ink. The color is a rich, luscious, deep brown orange. Dark areas in writing are almost a burnt rust, brownish red, but light areas shine brighter as if it were sitting directly in the sun’s rays. I’d call it a moderate shader with more on some papers than others. Strokes are clean with a sharp profile. They’re well defined and easy to read.

In writing, it performs beautifully. The writing experience was pure pleasure. It has a very nice consistency, thick and very smooth. It dried quickly on all papers, and not even a hint of feathering. I could write and write all day with this one and never tire of the look or feel!
