Jam Ink - Apricot
Jam Ink - Apricot - ink drop
Ding! Ding! We have a winner! Of the three inks from Jam Ink that I purchased, today’s ink is definitely my favorite.
Apricot is a beautiful, buttery golden yellow-brown. There are heavy orange undertones, which give it a slight resemblance to the flesh of an apricot, but there’s too much caramel to really bring fruit to mind. None of that really matters, though. This is a lovely, warm color that has a calming, positive feel as you watch it fill the page.
Jam Ink - Apricot - nice color range!
The writing experience with Apricot is more consistent compared to the previous two Jam inks that I’ve reviewed. They were nice, but this is a step above. I didn’t find any hints of feather here. There’s some shading and a nice, dark halo edging, and it feels great with a nice, smooth flow.

Jam Ink is made by Besen Masterpiece, and they are the in-house brand for Besen’s retail store Bestpen. So far, I’ve only seen them available in Korea through Bestpen, and through a reseller in the Philippines on Shopee.ph. If we’re lucky, that will eventually change, and they will be more widely available internationally. If you can find the brand, Apricot is a great place to start filling your cart!
