Today’s ink is a collaboration between Wearingeul and Colorverse. Called Starry Hills (별 빛이 나린언덕), it’s part of the Color of Literature series, and is dedicated to the poet Yun, Dong Joo (윤동주).

If you read my review of Wearingeul’s A Star Spattered Hill, you may be experiencing déjà vu! Although that one is not labeled as a Colorverse collaboration, and comes in Wearingeul’s beautiful square bottle, I believe that these are actually the same inks. I was expecting some difference, but I can’t find any other than the bottle and packaging (the final image below shows the bottle and box).

To be fair, this is an early, original version of Wearingeul’s ink, and I purchased both at a pen and ink shop in Korea. The retailer probably should have indicated that the two inks would be identical. I don’t blame Wearingeul, at all.

Regardless, this is a gorgeous ink, that I enjoy. I really like this ink, and I think it’s one of the nicest golden mustard-gold shimmers that I own. See my review of Wearingeul A Star Spattered Hill for full details (that’s the version available now, anyway.)
