Kin-mokusei is a happy, vibrant ink that ranges from light orange to deep reddish orange. The name refers to the gold autumn osmanthus flower, but most people consider this ink a clone of Sailor’s popular, but discontinued Apricot.

In writing, it performs very nicely. Strokes are clean and sharp. It dries quickly, and at times, it can produce a red or silvery white sheen. Much like Jentle Apricot, this ink instantly brightens your day. If you don’t have it, get it!
