Robert Oster - Astorquiza Rot
Robert Oster Astorquiza Rot displays anywhere from a deep, brick red with a subtle hint of plum, to a dark, blood red in thicker applications. This is a good-looking ink, and I don’t think it gets quite the attention that it really deserves.
Written lines are beautifully defined with a slight ash-black halo in some instances. When pooled, a charcoal black sheen blooms and works well with the dark scarlet that it surrounds.
Robert Oster inks perform wonderfully. They can be a little dry, but I don't have any complaints with Astorquiza Rot. A deep, matte blood red may not be for everyone, but for many, this may be the perfect, mysterious, dark accent. I like it!
