KWZ Ink - Raspberry
Who doesn’t love pink jellyfish! Today’s ink, Raspberry, is from the wonderful team KWZ Ink. KWZ consistently produces some of the finest quality inks on the market. I consider several of their inks to be “must haves” for my ink collection, and I always look forward to trying new, or new-to-me selections.
As with most KWZ inks, Raspberry greets you with the calming scent of vanilla. Raspberry is a confident, proud, well-defined, pink-magenta. This ink doesn’t whisper, it’s a full-throated roar! If you favor magenta, you’ll definitely love KWZ Raspberry.
As a writing ink, Raspberry performs very well in most cases. Depending on the paper, drying times ranged from a very fast seven seconds to just under twenty seconds. On Rhodia (80g), and Kokuyo (70g) it produced a lovely profile. Strokes were clean and crisp, and there were no signs of feather or bleed. On Mnemosyne (80g), Apica (70g), and standard office copy paper, results were mixed. There was slight to moderate feathering, and a bit of bleed.
If you use Rhodia or other coated papers, don’t think twice. KWZ Raspberry is a beautiful, carefree ink. Magenta is one of those colors that always seems to brighten a cloudy day. This probably won’t be your everyday writing ink, but everyone needs a few of those inks that just bring a smile to your face! If you’re looking for a smile, KWZ Raspberry should be on your list.
