Colorverse - Brane
Brane (glistening) is part of Colorverse Inks’ season 3, Multiverse series. It was originally packaged together with String (a warm, mustard yellow), and is now available on its own. The names Brane and String come from theoretical physics. (It’s beyond the scope of what can be explained here, but our universe would be considered a 3-dimensional brane.) This is ink 26 in the Colorverse catalog.
Colorverse Brane is a saturated green that ranges from an aged, earthy olive green to a lush, mossy, forest green. It’s a lovely, organic, floral green, and brings to mind the myriad components and cycles that give a great forest its essence. Dusted atop these enriched greens is a spectacular, fine-particle shimmer that sparkles in bluish-white platinum, and a green-gold shine.
This is a well-behaved ink. It dries reasonably quickly, and it hasn’t presented any challenges or surprises in terms of cleaning and maintenance. As a writing ink, strokes are clean and clear, with crisp edges. I have experienced little in terms of shading. It’s not a shading ink. However, it is bold and confident, and the color works well both for readers, and as a platform to showcase the ink’s dazzling shimmer and shine.
I’m happy to have this ink, and I think you will enjoy it, too!
